Constructionline is a public private partnership between the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions (DETR) and Capita, and is the UK’s largest register of qualified construction contractors and consultants. The purpose of Constructionline is to reduce the cost and burden of pre-qualification for clients as it can demonstrate that we have successfully satisfied the financial, managerial and technical criteria developed.

ISO 9001 secured
Thomson Fire Consultancy Ltd has been successful in receiving accreditation to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 through CQS. This is a significant step forward in TFC’s customer drive for satisfaction of the services that we offer and receiving this certification proves that the staff of TFC is dedicated to making a difference!
ISO 9001:2008 is an internationally recognized quality management standard. The standard focuses on defining customer quality requirements, meeting applicable customer and regulatory requirements, enhancing customer satisfaction and continually improving business performance.

Essex County Fire & Rescue Training Day
Thomson Fire Consultancy recently completed a training day to Essex County Fire & Rescue Service inspecting officers on fire safety in healthcare premises looking at the past, present and future for fire service personal visiting healthcare premises to audit and review fire risk assessments on sites within there community. Duncan Lewis from ECFRS Workplace fire safety section said" The presentation was professionally delivered and our inspecting officers gained an excellent grounding as to the differences between the practical operation and application of fire risk assessments within health care premises and those in the wider community in Essex" there was also attendance of inspecting officers from neighbouring Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Fire Services in attendance.

UCLH fire safety works
Thomson Fire Consultancy has recently been engaged to work with University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust on fire safety projects. The work commenced this month seeing us visit the site looking at the fire safety requirements on the Trust buildings to assist with a program of works. This project follows on from a earlier contract where TFC was asked to review the Trusts Fire Safety response and suggest ways to develop the response on site and make it more efficient with a view to managing Unwanted Fire Signals to the fire Authority.
