Fire safety audits provide a very useful ‘dry run’ prior to a formal inspection by a Fire Service inspector, but without the risk of enforcement orders or threat of prosecution. They follow the same process, but with a strong emphasis on identification and rectification.
Typically, we will begin by reviewing your administrative procedures, policies and record keeping before conducting a mock inspection of your premises. We will then provide you with a written report detailing the current fire safety status of the building or buildings, prescribed legal requirements, any shortcomings in current fire safety management procedures, best practice guidelines regarding fire safety, and recommended action to achieve legal compliance.
